Croatian road rules
In Croatia, drive on the right, overtake on the left, and use dipped headlights year-round (mandatory Nov-Mar). Seatbelts are mandatory for all, and children under 12 can't sit in front; use child seats. Speed limits are generally 50 km/h (urban), 90 km/h (rural), 110 km/h (expressways), and 130 km/h (motorways), with lower limits for new drivers. A 0.5‰ BAC limit applies, but zero tolerance for under 25 year old drivers. Carry a first-aid kit, warning triangle, and reflective vest.
